El mundo actual exige nuevas posiciones de los protagonistas del proceso educativo. Así, se destaca el rol trascendental de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (Tics) como una estrategia innovadora. En este contexto la investigación tuvo como objetivo “Valoración del uso de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación como apoyo a la Unidad Curricular Ayudas Audiovisuales de la Escuela de Humanidades y Educación de la Universidad de Oriente, Núcleo de Sucre.” El estudio se fundamentó en la Teoría del Aprendizaje Significativo, respondiendo a las características de la investigación descriptiva con una orientación exploratoria de campo; por lo que se aplicó un cuestionario tipo encuesta a 45 estudiantes, cuyos resultados se analizaron cualitativamente con el método hermenéutico, lo que permitió concluir que los recursos didácticos son herramientas de gran importancia que ayudan a desarrollar la tarea educativa, apoyando y redimensionando la labor docente y el aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes.

ABSTRACT
VALUATION THE USE OF NEW INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND COMUNICATION IN SUPPORT OF THE UNIT CURRICULUM AUDIOVISUAL AIDS IN THE SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES AND EDUCATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF EAST CORE OF SUCRE.
The current world demands new positions from the protagonists of the educational process. Thus, the transcendental role of outstands as innovating strategy. In this context, the research had as objective the “appraisement of new information technologies and comunication in support of the unit curriculum audiovisual aids in the school of humanities and education at the university of east core of sucre.” The study was based on the significant learning theory, in accordance with the characteristics of the descriptive research with an exploratory field orientation; reason why a questionnaire was applied to 45 students and its results were analyzed qualitatively, with the hermeneutic method which allowed to come to the conclusion that didactic resources are very important tools that help to develop the educational process, and thus supporting and giving another perspective to the teaching labor and significant learning in the students.
