RESUMEN

El presente artículo es producto de una investigación cualitativa de tipo fenomenológico-hermenéutico, la cual se orientó a indagar sobre la educación con miras a lograr una gestión ambiental para la sustentabilidad social. Al focalizar en el docente y el gerente de esta realidad, las vivencias y experiencias en el modo de darse la sabiduría trascendental de la educación ambiental, se implicaron saberes y haceres en un todo integrado, aprehensible, de conciencia ecológica y valores ambientalistas potencializados en el liceo bolivariano. El contexto empírico del estudio, consideró los nueve municipios que conforman el Estado Lara, República Bolivariana de Venezuela. Se generó un epísteme que reflexiona sobre la importancia ambiental y social, participación colectiva, acción empresarial y conciencia ecológica. Las reflexiones derivadas se asumieron en concebir la educación de manera holística, integradora, reflexiva y participativa, para significar que el Planeta requiere de seres pensantes en el mañana, críticos de sus propias acciones a fin de transformar sus realidades para transitar por diversos saberes hacia la sustentabilidad social.

ABSTRACT

This article is from a qualitative study phenomenological-hermeneutic, which was directed to inquire into education with a view to achieving environmental management to social sustainability. By focusing on the teacher and the manager of this reality, the experiences and experiences in the way you learn transcendental wisdom of environmental education, knowledge and practice were involved in an integrated whole, graspable, ecological awareness and environmental values potentiated in the Bolivarian high school. The empirical context of the study, considered the nine municipalities of the state of Lara, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Episteme was generated that reflects on the environmental and social, collective participation, corporate action and environmental awareness. The resulting reflections were assumed to conceive education in a holistic, integrative, reflective and participatory, meaning that the planet requires thinking beings in the morning, critical of their own actions to transform their realities to move along various knowledge towards social sustainability.
